Ok so basically I have a Raspberry pi, which I use both as IRC server and Wireless access point. On the Raspberry pi I also have an IRC client called the lounge. The idea behind this is that I can just bring my Raspberry pi around with me, plug it in and people around can connect to the wifi and chat on the irc using the inbuilt client without the need of downloading anything or having an internet connection. I have just a problem: I will also let complete strangers on my server, but how do I redirect them to the client login page every time? I know the IP and the port so I can easily connect to it ,but others don't. I could tell them the ip and port, but that's just not possible with people living on a different floor for example. It would be really nice if they would connect to the wifi and as soon as they go in their browser, instead of their normal page where their browser probably complains about internet issue, they actually get redirected to http://raspberry_ip_adress:9000 And can just login to the client right away. I would also like it to be consistent. As long as you are connected to the access point, every time you open the browser you get to that page.
