Routes audio from programs to different audio devices.

  • Hello everyone! So I'm trying to loop back some audio through a discord "bot" (Secondary login). So far so good, using Softrope as a playback software (I needed something with multiple simultaneous, adjustable tracks, basically trying to replace the player on Roll20 with something that can work with files from my pc). Routed it with an old, abandoned software (https://github.com/audiorouterdev/audio-router). Now I know, I know, Windows 10 now natively supports audio routing, but it doesn't seem to work with this combo. Anyway, I used both VB cable and virtual audio cable, same deal. The thing is, they play back nicely, but it seems that the quality is still not good, how to say.. the bass / the "umf" seems to get lost along the way, still sounds much better when played directly. Excuse my wording, I'm not an expert. Anyway, anyone got a good idea on how to fix this, or a better method perhaps?
