It's great. Check out Nuxt Content (https://content.nuxtjs.org/) or consider a headless CMS to pull in your page content. I wouldn't work with regular page files if you get many hundreds of them.
If you're dead set on SPA, I'd take a look at Elder.js. It's Svelte based and is designed to handle SPA prerendering at scale.
