Although, my only hope is that once you move to DX11 you can at some point add an enhancement hack for MSAA support. Not just because MSAA works for this generation of games in terms of bang for buck image quality/performance trade off due to simpler rendering and lighting. But also because for the games that do have remaining aliasing issues that aren't related to geometry. You could enhance the MSAA on Nvidia GPUs with SGSSAA. Which will fix 99% of that remaining aliasing, more efficiently than standard Ordered Grid SSAA.
