brave-core
Core engine for the Brave browser for mobile and desktop. For issues https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues
My main reason to use Firefox or something based on it at least: uBlock origin works best on Firefox: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/uBlock-Origin-works-best-on-Firefox
Granted, this is only an issue on Windows, but there's been a lot of discussion about it on their GitHub and on their forums. It seems to be par for the course with major browsers to have auto-update enabled by default, as Firefox, Vivaldi, Chromium, and Chrome all do this on Windows. That being said, I also hate auto-updates and wish they were opt-in with all software, on all platforms.
Oh, nope. Though it should be noted that Brave's built-in ad-blocker is partially based on uBlock Origin and supports much of the same syntax. IIRC, the only Chromium-based browser for Android that you can actually install uBO on, is Kiwi.
