KeepassXC is one of the few remaining applications I need to migrate from X11. Is anyone able to get AutoType working or have some sort of workaround? I came across this which says to set the environment variable QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb; however, nothing happens when I hit the specified global AutoType hotkey. Actually, I don't even know how one would bind AutoType's hotkey to Sway--I thought any keybindings must be defined by the compositor (i.e. Sway)? But there are no switches for using AutoType to bind to a hotkey--simply binding a key to run keepassxc just pops up the UI.
I assume keepass uses X11 for auto-typing, which isn't gonna work on sway (it will in xwayland applications though). I personally don't use keepass, but I use a script for bitwarden which uses wtype to do auto-type on sway. I'd assume something similar exists for keepass, or if it doesn't it should be relatively easy to make.
