EMBA - The firmware security analyzer

  • Ghidra is a Decompiler for reverse engineering and emba is a firmware analyzer. It's main focus is Linux-based firmware and it checks for typical configuration files or passwords and so on. After extracting the firmware image emba checks for a root filesystem and will analyze it's content. Additional for non-Linux-based firmware there is a check for version numbers. There are all features of emba listed: https://github.com/e-m-b-a/emba/wiki/Feature-overview
