  • OpenTabletDriver

Open source, cross-platform, user-mode tablet driver

  • Could possibly be an issue with WindowsInk, making your tablet only work as a normal mouse. Make sure whatever program you are trying to use has WindowsInk set as its pressure protocol, if that is something you are able to change in settings. Also, don't use Hawku drivers. They haven't been updated in 3 years and have slowly become more and more broken with each Windows update to the point that a lot of things are just completely unusable in them. If you want something lightweight and open-source that is actively maintained and updated, there is OpenTabletDriver. Although do note that this doesn't have WindowsInk installed by default, and you have to download a plugin for the driver and follow some instructions to get pressure to work. There is also a dubugger for your tablet so you can see if it is the pen that is causing the pressure issue, but I doubt a pen would die in such a way that you'd only have full pressure or none.
