  • My very frank take on this is that he sounds like he's painting the entire Haskell community with a very broad brush based on the criticism of a subset of the community (which I'm not prepared to comment on one way or the other, to be clear), and at the same time he feels entitled to get a lot of praise and support from the Haskell community because his company has thrown a lot of money at developing libraries. Suggesting Haskell is not ready for production use also feels like an overly-general cheap shot especially when community members have, without defensiveness, spent a good amount of time trying to delineate where Haskell is strong and where it needs work.
