Playing the one-week experimental, I am a bit worried about proficiencies only working as intended for a bit more than a week following #48673. The path to gain certain proficiencies is a bit rough, I burned more than 40 lumps on clay on a crucible and more than 20 steel frames on an anvil until I had Pottery and Principles of Metalworking, Pottery even being mitigated. It works great on the path to survivor gear where there are clear practice crafts for all of the proficiencies, but having to dig for days for enough clay and breaking enough material for 8 crucibles was frustrating. Before the fix to failure rates, one could put up with it just needing forever, but now you never know if you have enough materials.
I think I've figured out the cause of the segfault; there's another package which had the same issue here.
