  • hubs

Duck-themed multi-user virtual spaces in WebVR. Built with A-Frame.

Until now, we've been using Mozilla Hubs. More specifically, I forked the project and created a custom client. However, Hubs has a lot of features we don't need, and is frustrating to work with when implementing features it's not built to support. I'd much rather create a custom solution in Unity.

  • A-Frame

:a: Web framework for building virtual reality experiences.

My question is, how well is Web VR supported on Unity? More to the point, how well does it support mobile devices, and would there be a tangible improvement in performance compared to Hubs, which is based on A-Frame (a JS framework)?
