  • It's not very complicated actually. The whole thing is just a raspberry pi(in this case a 3), with the official raspberry pi touchscreen added. The software that makes it all work is call volumio which is designed to run headless on a device but has a plugin that adds the touchscreen interface. I bought a hifiberry DAC but I think there is some incompatibility between that dac and the touchscreen so right now it's just plugged into the headphone jack on the Pi while I look for a USB DAC.
