Close — it's actually a minimalist approach akin to https://github.com/swagger-api/swagger-codegen — except it a) uses a simple manifest format instead of a huge swagger API spec and b) doesn't codegen, instead it dynamically generates an API client following a simple URL params-based pattern and using the natively available (both on Node and browser) Proxy class. There are things to be polished up however, see the Goals and Status.
