Our great sponsors
  • SurveyJS - Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • awesome-selfhosted

A list of Free Software network services and web applications which can be hosted on your own servers

  • I was looking at the impressive list of options on https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted#photo-and-video-galleries. Has anyone any recommendations or outright "drop this" notes on any of these? My current plan is to start loading these up one at a time until I find one that meets my criteria of docker, directly linkable videos, searchable, clean, and easy to use for everyone (extended family will get in on it, I'm sure).

  • lbry-sdk

The LBRY SDK for building decentralized, censorship resistant, monetized, digital content apps.

  • Mite get downvoted but, not self-hosted in traditional way: https://lbry.com/ Basically shared distributed cache for videos, still need to dig deeper into this, is still beta but some youtubers I follow already has their channel available here.

  • SurveyJS

Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App. With SurveyJS form UI libraries, you can build and style forms in a fully-integrated drag & drop form builder, render them in your JS app, and store form submission data in any backend, inc. PHP, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.

  • stash

An organizer for your porn, written in Go. Documentation: https://docs.stashapp.cc

  • Stash is for videos that are typically not for public consumption, even if you don't use it for that. It's super easy to set up and "just works". It's being actively developed, doesn't require a database, runs from one command, and works on windows/mac/linux.
