I help maintain the Joist ORM (https://github.com/stephenh/joist-ts) and was just last week building out an `InMemoryDriver` backend that would make ~90% of application logic that "isn't raw SQL" be testable in-memory (i.e. business logic codepaths that only do `EntityManager.find/load/flush`).
