  macOS app to set battery charge limit for Intel MacBooks

I have 282 cycles on my 2018 MBP and got a similar warning a few months ago. The laptop spends most of its time plugged in so I downloaded Charge Limiter and limited the charge to 60%. That seems to have removed the battery warning for me, and hopefully when I do need full charge again the battery degradation will have slowed down. You can also download coconutBattery and see how much capacity is actually remaining, mine was as low as 72%. I used to keep the battery between say 40% and 70% religiously on my older devices but I have slacked off recently and am now paying the price
