  • Outside of the on-prem homelab I have a VPS that I use to serve anything that I feel needs to have a better uptime and redundancy than what I can provide here. What I mean by that is, I recently moved to Canada from the USA for work and wanted to ensure that the sites I use would be up incase anyone would want it. Also a place for my users to check to see if Plex was back online or if they couldn't reach it to see if it was a them problem or an everyone problem (Lets be real, no ever uses it, but I can push back if they complain even easier now). This is done with the VPS having a wireguard server created that connects to a specific host on Yggdrasil and can only connect to certain IPs. This connection basically allows for Statsping to make it checks. I should not that this project appears to be abandoned and rumor in a certain slack channel that I do not have access to said that it was. I am probably going to fork it and fix some of it bugs in the future, but that is another project in the ever growing list. This honestly was one of my favorite achievements because I haven't seen it done anywhere else. I am currently writing a post on host to do it from start to finish, but it is going to take a bit. Also I managed to get this to require 2FA as well so that was an awesome win.

  • overseerr

Request management and media discovery tool for the Plex ecosystem

  • Asgard servers as my media installation. All focused on Plex with the subsequent *.rr containers to provide access. I used to use Ombi, but honestly it has become horrible in the past few months and so in March I switched to Overseerr. Best decision yet. Overseerr is so smooth that even my Plex user's don't complain (Only 1 has used it since the switch and they said it was a great improvement). If you want a guide on how to use it and want to share that with your users, you can go here. Asgard also holds my pihole container.

  • InfluxDB
