    UnityChanToonShaderVer2 Project / v.2.0.9 Release

  • I kind of doubt you'll find any shader around that's more comprehensive than the one developed by the Unity-Chan project. You can find it on their Github along with a bunch of information about high-quality cel shading. Basic toon shading is easy, but getting a refined anime look takes some real work and a shader like that is built to accommodate the sort of art pipeline necessary to compete with the state of the art graphics you're looking for.

Unity Toon Shader ( an experimental package )

  • And looking at the network it seems like further development on that shader has gone internal - here's a repository from Unity that they've been actively working on for years. Looks like it uses URP?
