WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
It will not use the tangle for the comms layer, it will use https://matrix.org
It makes sense. Think about privacy. There's virtually no proper way to have a private conversation with end-to-end encryption without you having to use your e-mail address or phone number as a unique identifier.Well there is one: Session messenger (https://getsession.org/) which "ironically" also use a DKT in the background, but it is very slow and a lot of times the notifications never arrive. I tried to give up Skype and use this, but my contacts soon got angry that I rarely reply. Well, if I received their messages, then I probably would have :)If Firefly will be capable to true end-to-end encrypted conversations + sending/receiving funds, then onewould need to use Facebook for chat giving up all of their privacy and pay a lot of fees using Paypal or wire transfer. Wire transfers are very cumbersome and you never know if you really have the correct account number, so you need a side channel to exchange that information. But what is that side channel? E-mail? Is it secure? How many times have you read in the news that companies got scammed by an attacker that pretended to be one of their partner called on phone and asked them to transfer money to their account? With Firefly this will no longer be an issue.
