  • swappy

A Wayland native snapshot editing tool, inspired by Snappy on macOS

Do you know swappy? It's a great screenshot editing tool. It takes a screenshot from stout and than allows you to add colored text, arrows and more

  • xdg-desktop-portal-wlr

    xdg-desktop-portal backend for wlroots

There is also a mostly working pull request: https://github.com/emersion/xdg-desktop-portal-wlr/pull/59

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • sway

    i3-compatible Wayland compositor

A good option that's actually on Sway's sources for screenshots is Grimshot. I have certain modes bound to hotkeys (eg `printscr` to region-select, `alt+printscr` to capture current window etc) and in general is one of the better written screenshot scripts out there

  • flameshot

Powerful yet simple to use screenshot software :desktop_computer: :camera_flash:

I also use grimshot, but it's worth mentioning that Flameshot's recent 0.9.0 release has better Wayland and Sway support.

  • clipman

Discontinued A simple clipboard manager for Wayland

clipman which can easily integrate with bmenu for clipboard selection.

  • dunst

    Lightweight and customizable notification daemon

dunst doesn't support HiDPI wayland scaling yet though https://github.com/dunst-project/dunst/issues/836

  • qutebrowser

A keyboard-driven, vim-like browser based on Python and Qt.

You might want to have a look on this: https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/issues/5421

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
