  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale

  • Rufus

    The Reliable USB Formatting Utility

On windows I used https://rufus.ie/ to backup my sd card and then wrote it to an m2 drive

  • rpi-clone

A shell script to clone a booted disk.

I see, I give rpi-clone actually a try, that seems to get around the PARTUUID things and such. Running systems is always a problem, I know, but better this, than needing 30-45 minutes to do this with getting the Pi out of the rack in the basement, having no DHCP/DNS/VPN for that time (The other people I live with would kill me, they are in homeoffice.).

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • DietPi

Lightweight justice for your single-board computer!

Best thing I've done for my RPi pihole. https://dietpi.com/

  • log2ram

ramlog like for systemd (Put log into a ram folder)

First is use Log2RAM. This stores all your logs (not just pihole logs) in RAM and writes them to disk based on the cronjob set (default is every 24hrs) instead of constant small writes 24/7 that pihole normally does for every DNS query. Using Log2RAM in conjunction with any microsd would extend the lifespan significantly. https://github.com/azlux/log2ramhttps://github.com/azlux/log2ram
