WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
Games are very complex applications, developed by small teams (sometimes a single developer in many Indie scenarios) in a fairly small amount of time. I've gained an appreciation for that, even though it may not exactly be by the book. But hey, if it takes a 3700-line switch statement, then who am I to criticize someone that actually shipped a working and successful product?
There are proposals for both threads and things like reference + interface types, and a GC, which will enable calling web APIs directly, where JS will be used only to initialize the program on page load (maybe not even then, possibly with HTML support for script type=wasm tags). I recommend looking through the official repository, it's all well documented.
Yeah, for example the source code for Red Alert is surprisingly clean.
