Here's a link to my setup with oci-containers using the podman backend, i hope it can help. I manage them with systemctl, eg sudo systemctl restart podman-bitwarden.service. A few gotchas I had was the volume mount point has to be created with correct permissions before starting the container otherwise it will fail to start. And by default containers are started with root requiring sudo, eg sudo podman ps etc for the commands we are used to.
