If you want to use (neo)mutt but it's too much work to set up, I'd recommend trying out the wizard Luke Smith wrote for it (https://github.com/LukeSmithxyz/mutt-wizard).
I would personally recommend Astroid for a minimal graphical email client. It still takes a bit of getting set up, but it worked really well for me when I stopped using webmail for a bit.
