I believe websockets still need to be implemented natively in SvelteKit. This issue is one year old and yet to be resolved: https://github.com/sveltejs/kit/issues/1491
There is an existing issue for that: https://github.com/sveltejs/svelte/issues/3480With examples of workarounds.

That is true. But that could motivate to use REPL or sveltelab.dev which imho is much preferrred
