Here's a script that uses nwg-wrapper to display a countdown - it would be easy to modify it to display a digital clock.
I'm searching something like osd_clock for swaywm: It's a little, digital clock, that hovers transparently above the other windows. This way, I always have the time only a glance away. wlclock comes closely, but unfortunately this is an analog clock (with hands) and I can't stand that :)=)
