  • ShareX

ShareX is a free and open source program that lets you capture or record any area of your screen and share it with a single press of a key. It also allows uploading images, text or other types of files to many supported destinations you can choose from.

Wasn't there some issues with greenshot being dead in development? I think https://getsharex.com/ shares the same codebase, but needs some tweaking to prevent accidental uploads if you roll it out for users.

  • flameshot

Powerful yet simple to use screenshot software :desktop_computer: :camera_flash:

  • screenshot.rocks

Create beautiful mobile & browser mockups from screenshots

But recently I was making some user tutorials covering an MDM deployment and I ran all the pictures through https://screenshot.rocks and the client feedback has been very nice.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
