If you want a professional daily driver and consistent non-crashy web ui I recommend a node based workflow with ComfyUI. It doesn't have as much bleeding edge features as A1111 but technically you can code your own nodes and play it further. You also get a sense of how things work even though its a slightly more complicated node setup and you are able to save custom workflows and load them back easily. I haven't found any official discord or forum on this GUI though. 3D artists and VFX folks would be at home with the node based design but I have to admit its not for everyone.
Yeah I haven't used it yet I've mostly been waiting on LoRAs and only just saw that they added them. I don't mind them taking their time. auto1111 works but the code and UI are a complete mess. Looks like there was an PR for ControlNet submitted earlier today.
A1111 has become so complicated, I wouldn't trust regular updates anyways, as things need to be tested, and when you're getting 100 pull requests a day, it would be a full time job to sift through that. I think A1111 is fine as is. The theming is really the main issue, which is why I made one to my own liking. https://github.com/pflky/sd-web-ui-radius-theme
The theme looks ugly is it possible to use this theme? https://github.com/canisminor1990/sd-web-ui-kitchen-theme.git
I primarily use camenduru's colab version: https://github.com/camenduru/stable-diffusion-webui-colab
I got excited for a second, because an SD distro written all in Rust is exactly what I need for Graphite, an open source Photoshop/Gimp replacement written in Rust.
One of the other big options would be Easy Diffusion. Still missing some features, but it's coming along well: https://github.com/cmdr2/stable-diffusion-ui
