    Without experience with the different shells and good testing harnesses, completions are more community-maintained. The native completion engine would at least allow minimize the areas that are hard to test. I've not personally put too much of a focus on that as its most approachable area for new contributors but unfortunately we've not gotten anyone to stick around to finish it up.

    Oh this has me excited. IsTerminal has entered FCP, meaning we'll likely get it in 1.71 or so. Once that becomes the MSRV, we can drop the dependency on is_terminal which is surprisingly large (5 dependencies, totaling 2s of CPU time on my machine)
