  • Without experience with the different shells and good testing harnesses, completions are more community-maintained. The native completion engine would at least allow minimize the areas that are hard to test. I've not personally put too much of a focus on that as its most approachable area for new contributors but unfortunately we've not gotten anyone to stick around to finish it up.

  • Oh this has me excited. IsTerminal has entered FCP, meaning we'll likely get it in 1.71 or so. Once that becomes the MSRV, we can drop the dependency on is_terminal which is surprisingly large (5 dependencies, totaling 2s of CPU time on my machine)
