Is a project based approach to learning things good ?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/developersIndia

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • go

    The Go programming language

My approach usually is: Read through the basic usage documentation / tutorial of the language, example for Rust its rust handbook, for golang its go.dev etc. Then start a project on it, nothing too ambitious, could be something a like CRUD api, image converter etc. Google at any point i get stuck on anything. You can just simply google, 'while loop in go', or 'async method in node.js' as you feel the need to write it.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
