Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • airwindows

This contains all the Airwindows audio open source code

Or you could try the Airwindows plugins. They're not guitar effects, per se, and they don't have UIs, but there's a huge (!) assortment of plugins that do strange and often interesting things. Those should work without issue, and you'd definitely be able to control and/or automate their parameters.

  • TUKAN_STUDIOS_PLUGINS

    JSFX Plugins for Reaper

If it doesn't have to be bitwig, most guitarix lv2 plugins work out of the box in reaper, as well as the fantastic tukan studio plugins (they are written in reapers own scripting language so they are not available elsewhere). My current default guitar effect chain consists of the tukan amp sim, a hardware tube drive pedal, reaper's default delay readelay and dragonfly reverb, and it sounds quite nice if i may say so.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • BYOD

    Build-your-own guitar distortion!

BYOD (amazing sounding IMHO) installation comes with VST plugin but I'm not sure if there is a way to control it through midi.
