Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • GDevelop

:video_game: Open-source, cross-platform game engine designed to be used by everyone.

  • In the immediate term for just pure 2D Video Game Development in the FOSS (free and open source software) world, I'd suggest GDevelop , which uses Code Blocks (build on JavaScript and C++ on the backend). Kenny is a nice collection of assets for both 2D and 3D for any development engine.

  • Godot

    Godot Engine – Multi-platform 2D and 3D game engine

  • An example that would be important for a "new" Godot programmer/dev. There is no ```class_name``` equivalent for putting a C# extended classes into the Node selection menu. Not without doing several extra steps with a plug-in. There's a long going request for it. And community plug-ins to deal with it. That's not first-class citizenship. And something that is "funky" enough to really throw a novice that was trying to follow tutorials and guides about expanding the Node options.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
