    my understanding is the point of that was if you were using frigate with home assistant or some other service like vlc that could accept a rtmp stream.     I made this to solve a similar issue, I haven't tested it with HEVC but it should work. I also highly recommend using the client for viewing the streams instead of just going to the URL in the browser.
