  • dotfiles

My personal dotfiles, to use when I need to change OS. Mostly aesthetic configurations. (by herod2k)

  • To use bspwm I had to make few scripts in bash (e.g.https://github.com/herod2k/dotfiles/blob/master/nordicfaint/.config/scripts/bsw_monitors), I already knew it but I suppose that other people had to learn it to configure i3 or bspwm and bash is also a niche "language". I don't see the difference or the problem I'm happy to learn something different. If you want something minimal I think that scripting is necessary.

  • i3

A tiling window manager for X11

  • Yeah I did this up until recently. i3 was really "lightweight auto maximize" until I found a script to actually maximize windows in i3. Now I can actually have tiled windows and then pop one out without ruining the layout. Here's where I got the script from: https://github.com/i3/i3/issues/2107#issuecomment-567271840

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • 2bwm

A fast floating WM written over the XCB library and derived from mcwm.

  • It's a pity 2bwm does not get the love :) https://github.com/venam/2bwm
