  • FlyBulkDeploy

I want to build tools for using Fly Machines like Bulk Deployment, Usage Tracking, and Log Export for my own usage and side projects.

I have build a command line tool for Bulk Deploying to 26 Fly Regions and Managing Fly Machines as MIT Licensed Open Source Project.

I would like someone to use this tool and test and advice on any improvement.

I am willing to connect in Zoom and share my limited knowledge for anyone who wants to Use Fly Machines for deploying their apps.

  • garden

Garden grows and cultivates collections of Git trees ~ Official mirror of https://gitlab.com/garden-rs/garden (by garden-rs)

Project Description: Garden is a git multi-repo powertool. Garden lets you define custom workflows over arbitrary collections of git trees.

If you find yourself running bespoke commands across a smattering of git repositories then Garden can be a big improvement over a big pile o' scripts and repos.

What do you want to be tested: Test the documented feature-set and new-user onboarding experience. Give feedback on its usefulness as a development/testing aid.

  • notebook

Tool for Thought. ʚɞ (by ilse-langnar)

Project Description: It's a tool for thought, browser, note-taking application with inspiration from: Roam Research, Obsidian, SigmaOS, Chrome etc. I'm trying to have a all-in-one browser where I don't have to leave to do anything. Everything should be done inside the browser.

Testing help: Anyone who has a non-linux, non-windows machine would be of great help because I need to fix the small bugs still.

Contact info: On on the githu issues (:

  • nrfs

Filesystem with compression, encryption, CoW and error detection

Project description: I'm designing a custom filesystem with compression, error correction (with mirroring) & encryption.

The aim of the project is to have a filesystem with these features while remaining considerably simpler & easier to use than ZFS, btrfs etc. In particular, I aim to make it easy to use with removable media as I got a bunch of old drives that I don't want to have powered on 24/7.

I'm looking for people willing to test the filesystem. While the filesystem appears stable I believe more issues may pop up when used for long-term storage (e.g. backups). With more people using it I hope to find these issues quicker.

There are currently only (FUSE & tool/"mkfs") binaries for Linux[1]. If you want to test it but don't have a Linux installation, please let me know and I'll see if I can create a build for your OS.

Contact info: hn+nrfs@demindiro.com or on Github.

P.S.: Using a block size other than 12 is currently broken, so don't adjust that parameters when creating a filesystem.
