WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
Headscale, Headscale seems to match my needs perfectly. The easy enough setup, and the fact that it is based on Tailscale makes it an obvious option. My one gripe with it is that it does not have a way to connect IOS devices, which is a dealbreaker for now.
I have my own home server that i access through a vpn (which for right now is tailscale). But I have one potential problem with it, its freemium model. For right now, tailscale works great, but their locking things behind a paywall I do not agree with. I am most worried about the node limit. I have plenty of devices that I want to put on the vpn. And I love how easy it is to use and set up, and some of the features it has.
Nebula, Nebula seems like a great option, using a faster than wireguard protocol, and it supports most of the clients that I would need. But it seems slightly more complicated to set up and it is geared more towards commercial use cases. I also don't know the state of DNS in it (and how experimental it seems), I have PiHole running on the server and would like to be able to use it outside the network.
