Rails developers write some Rust: a review of Axum 0.6

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/rust

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • crates.io

    The Rust package registry

Can you point where crates.io uses diesel in its axum route handlers? I am trying to look it up on github, but I don't see how they can use a sync db connection in async route handler without blocking the thread.

  • metrics

In that case you may be interested in the metrics for different database libraries. diesel is doing rather well at the moment. sqlx is in the middle of a large rewrite that should improve performance, so we'll see how it compares after that

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
