Nice to have you in our community. In case of issues, you should always check https://support.system76.com/ first. If an update broke something, check /r/pop_os. There are no stupid questions about Linux, just people who don't know yet the basics or how is called the thing they are looking for. In many cases, a fix for Ubuntu will work for Pop. And the very last tip: do not use commands you do not understand. Always double check what the command is doing in a different source.
