If you install Soundswitch https://soundswitch.aaflalo.me/ you can swap outputs with a hotkey, and it and/or Windows will switch to the latest one you powered on. I used that with my headphone amp so that when I turn on the headphone amp, Windows switches the audio to that. When I turn off the amp, audio returns to the receiver and the speakers.
