  • initializr

A quickstart generator for Spring projects

  • If you want a generic answer, I'd say the spring initializr is a quick way to get whatever you need fast. However, you'd still need to select the tools applicable for the problem you're trying to solve.

  • JHipster

JHipster, much like Spring initializr, is a generator to create a boilerplate backend application, but also with an integrated front end implementation in React, Vue or Angular. In their own words, it "Is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, & deploy modern web applications & microservice architectures."

  • What you maybe asking for is something like vaadin or jhipster which marries the front with the backend. (I don't like them tbh but it worth mentioning)

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • Vaadin

Vaadin 6, 7, 8 is a Java framework for modern Java web applications. (by vaadin)

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
