I don't use ffmpeg for movie/tv encoding, rather av1an, which is a tool where it spawns x amount of workers to fully saturate my cpu usage. For x265 parameters I use the following: --crf 19.50 --profile main10 --me star --subme 4 --amp --preset slow --psy-rd 1.20 --psy-rdoq 1.40 --rdoq-level 2 --bframes 12 --ref 6 --aq-mode 3
