  1. quinn

    Async-friendly QUIC implementation in Rust

By studying u/djcu/hachyderm.io (and others!) excellent work in Quinn, doing a sans I/O implementation of QUIC https://github.com/quinn-rs/quinn we have a way forward.

  3. str0m

A Sans I/O WebRTC implementation in Rust.

    Git: https://github.com/algesten/str0m

  4. webrtc

A pure Rust implementation of WebRTC (by webrtc-rs)

Regarding webrtc-rs. I'm a contributor to that project. The future of str0m could very well be to roll it in under that umbrella. However in these early days, I think it's better to keep str0m separate, until such time that it covers most of webrtc-rs functionality. Discussion here: https://github.com/webrtc-rs/webrtc/issues/230

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
