When I first realised ARM was declarative I was quite enthused by the approach. I liked the idea of not only being able to deploy, but also maintain my environment, using code. The reality turned out to be a little less exciting as I started running into issues (attempting to update my network introduced me to this one, for example https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/issues/2786).
