    Ah I see. In that case I'd recommend that you do a BSCS, as the degree is worth more unfortunately, but I'd still recommend that you do that and on the side do self learning as well - since you said you have a weak math background, I'd recommend going through Mathplanet , and also Project's Euler to test your skill. In term of programming Leetcode is your friend.
