Would ALSA + alsamixer + apulse Suite Me/My Use Case?

   Also, I want to be able to copy presets from AutoEq as fore mentioned. Does anyone know if alsamixer is similar to easyeffects for pipewire? Do settings/sliders/options line up whatsoever? If I could translate the settings made for easyeffects into alsamixer settings that would be ideal. I'm just not sure if that's how it works. If anyone knows much about this then I would love to hear.

   Most of my audio comes from Firefox, Steam, and other random miscellaneous programs. I'm wondering if I can rely on apulse for this? If I need to do some configuration that's more than okay, but if it's super buggy or hardly works then it's not worth the trouble. If anyone has experience with apulse I would love to hear more about it.
