massu
AI Engineering Governance Platform — Session memory, feature registry, code intelligence, and rule enforcement for AI coding assistants.
Project mention: Show HN: Massu – Governance layer for AI coding assistants (MCP, 51 tools) | news.ycombinator.com | 2026-02-23massu init detects your framework, creates config, registers the MCP server, and installs 11 lifecycle hooks. 890 tests, 0 npm audit vulnerabilities.
On the license: BSL 1.1. I know this is controversial here. The restriction is narrow: you can't take Massu and offer it as a hosted commercial service. Everything else is permitted, including production use. It converts to Apache 2.0 on Feb 14, 2029. I chose this because I want to build a sustainable business (optional cloud platform at massu.ai for team features) without locking down the core tool. If you're using it in your own projects -- commercial or otherwise -- you're fine.
What Massu is NOT:
- Not a code generation tool. It doesn't write code for you. It governs the AI that does.
- Not a linter or formatter. It operates at a higher level -- features, sessions, architecture.
- Not a replacement for CI/CD. It's complementary. It catches things during the AI coding session, before code is even committed.
Currently only supports Claude Code. Support for other MCP-compatible clients is possible but not tested.
Happy to answer questions about the architecture, the incidents that motivated specific features, or the engineering tradeoffs.

mcp-guard
Stop AI agents from doing dangerous things through MCP. Wraps any MCP server with allow/block/hold-for-approval guardrails. (by sidclawhq)
Project mention: How to add human approval to MCP tool calls — no code changes | dev.to | 2026-04-10We built sidclaw-mcp-guard to fix that. It's a CLI that wraps any MCP server with policy-based guardrails. YAML rules, local approval dashboard, audit trail. No signup, no SaaS dependency. Apache 2.0.

boardroom-mcp
AI Governance-as-a-Service — Give your AI agents a boardroom of 450+ advisors. Multi-advisor debate, institutional memory, trust scoring, and cognitive protocols. Works with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenClaw, and any MCP client. Zero API keys. 100% local.
4. The server synthesizes the debate, logs it to a persistent LEDGER (so the agent has institutional memory), and returns a risk-scored recommendation.
I built this locally so there's zero cloud dependency and your agent data stays yours. It works natively with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP client.
You can checkout the core engine here: https://github.com/randysalars/boardroom-mcp
