  • GitHub repo vscode-java

Java Language Support for Visual Studio Code

Project mention: My First VSCode Extension - Assembly Language Support | reddit.com/r/vscode | 2021-02-23

I haven't tested your extension, but I'm always glad to see these kinds of contributions to the ecosystem. If you want to increase the utility of your code, you might consider distributing your extension and your language server separately. Then users of other editors can use your server as well (e.g. Neovim, Emacs, JetBrains IDEs). Many extension developers decouple language server and VSCode extension. See for example the repositories for the Kotlin extension and server and the Java extension and server.

Project mention: What is your best bet for creating presentations with CSS/web techs? | dev.to | 2021-03-01

I am trying Reveal.js in Markdown Preview Enhanced for VSCode (with ); and, as always, trying to override CSS in Reveal.js is frustrating, and even more difficult to debug for Print.

  • GitHub repo salesforcedx-vscode

    Salesforce Extensions for VS Code

Project mention: Anyone having issues with the Apex Relay Debugger in VS code today? | reddit.com/r/SalesforceDeveloper | 2021-02-27

One of the big appeals of VSCode for me is the huge community around it, and the range of plugins available.

    Yes, see https://github.com/haskell/vscode-haskell/issues/349.

  • GitHub repo tailwindcss-classnames

    Functional typed classnames for TailwindCSS

Project mention: How to Build A React TS Tailwind Design System | dev.to | 2021-02-16

One last thing that can be helpful is using a library like [tailwind-classnames](https://github.com/muhammadsammy/tailwindcss-classnames) which helps validate you are using correct class names, and if you don't TS will yell at you. It has the full capability and API of the known [classnames](https://www.npmjs.com/package/classnames) library, as it is just an extension of it.

  • GitHub repo vscode-ghc-simple

Simple GHC (Haskell) integration for VSCode

Project mention: Setting up Reflex with VS Code in WSL | reddit.com/r/haskell | 2021-02-08

Im not sure haskell language server works with reflex right now (haven't used reflex recently). You may ask on IRC or maybe try https://github.com/dramforever/vscode-ghc-simple (haven't used it recently either). For ghcid, I don't think it supports reloading across packages, you can try something like what I did here https://github.com/aveltras/blog-reflex/blob/master/blog-reflex.cabal (basically, having only one cabal file for the whole project and two executable client and server both having two source directories, so during development, you'd only work with ghcid on the server part, putting most of the code that can work on both environment in the common directory).
