There are also many open source generators out there that are worth mentioning: MkDocs and Docusaurus to name a couple popular ones. If you need something more customizable, Jekyll and Hugo are good options. Generic static site generators however tend to add a lot of complexity so we'd recommend going for something more light-weight.

📘 OpenAPI/Swagger-generated API Reference DocumentationProject mention: Keeping Documentation Debt At Bay & Clients Happy | dev.to | 2021-09-09
This library allowed us to write the API documentation in-place throughout the route definitions, and drf-yasg would render documentation in either the form of an OpenAPI schema or as an interactive Redoc/Swagger UI web page. This meant that we were generating documentation from our code and there was no extra developer steps to change documentation if a feature or route changed.

Isolated React component development environment with a living style guideProject mention: Best practice to document Web-App developed with React | reddit.com/r/react | 2021-08-19
Hello everyone! I and my friends are currently developing a project for university exam. Project is a simple web-app with BE in Java and FE with React/Redux in Typescript. I developed FE side, but I need to document our project and I have no idea what are best practice or tool to do this. Searching, I found this article, that talks about react-styleguidist library. But according to their web site, this library allow to document isolated React component. I’m just looking for something to document entire project. Is this library the only solution? Thanks to read me.
TypeScript is relatively mainstream at this point, and I think that's good news. If you want to crank the type-safety and pure FP dials on it to 11, you certainly can do that. I have a project that I've based largely on this post, including the "hardcore" section. However, instead of Redux and otherwise plain React, I've chosen to use Cycle.js and the lessons from this post to use React in a very purely Functional Reactive Programming Way.
