Configuration for Arch Linux, sway, kitty, kakoune, zsh and more + scripted installation guide (by maximbaz)
Project mention: [HELP]I'm having a kernel panic and can't control the keyboard at all. | reddit.com/r/archlinux | 2021-04-02I customized install.sh to be similar to the environment I was looking for, and when I tried it, I was told that there was no detached luks header, and I tried to exit rootfs and reboot, but an error occurred on exit.

I also use a bare repo, but I use dotbare for fzf+git superpowers.

Project mention: Autoident drives me nuts. Even when I supposedly turned it off it still does 4 spaces in some places and 2 in others. How do I completely turn this thing off? | reddit.com/r/vim | 2021-02-25I added filetype indent off so that indent plugins for the various languages would not automatically execute, and then I set smartindent so that regardless of what kind of file I'm editing it (very!) simply just re-uses the same indent from the previous line. For everything else I just manually ctrl-t/ctrl-d as I type.

Project mention: A few questions I have before I switch to Arch | reddit.com/r/archlinux | 2021-02-10
It's not the end but it's a good start. Every now and then (think months apart) a default setting from some product changes and you will face a "problem".A good example of this is the default setting for secondary windows with compton. The default used to be fully opaque but they changed it to 75% opaque. At this point my system did something I did not expect, making secondary windows transparent to a degree. A quick google and 1 config change fixed it.So.. , given that you update daily (which i don't.. I just do it whenever I feel like) your experience will most often result in a 0. Highest I would ever give it is a 3.

There are also some other things it can't do; for example moving an input from my laptop speakers to bluetooth (happens automatically most of the time, but not always) or moving it away from the HDMI it automatically selects sometimes. I have a little script which takes care of that for me, but really, this is far harder than it needs to be.

These dots use a lot of pywal. Check the templates folder in the wal config directory.
