there is a mod called Wedit from Silverfeelin (https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-WEdit/tree/v1.4.4.8), and there is a specific item that he developed which is a pencil that allows you to exchange the block for another one (block swap), however, would it not be possible to create a modification that would allow this type of function ??
